Questions: How could you as a student benefit from having a school provided iPad? How would this change your classes? How would this change the way you learn?
As a student, iPads would be easier because are light and easy to carry. Students would be carrying the iPads instead of heavy textbooks. Using iPads would allow students to make less stops to their locker, meaning they can get to class on time. Through personal experiences, students tend to doze off or get distracted easily if the lesson doesn't interest them. IPads can provide a fun way to learn in class. Although iPads are expensive, they allow students to easily access their homework outside of school. According to Larry Reiff, an English teacher at Roslyn High School, iPads allow teachers to extend the classroom beyond the four walls. In classrooms, iPads can give us easy access to the internet. For example, if we need to research a particular subject in class, the iPads could be used for that purpose.
